Aim: The main goal of this project was to improve the career prospects of young people, whether as an employee or an entrepreneur, by developing the skills needed in the challenging labor market.

EMPOWER THE WILLPOWER

Aim:” Empower The Willpower” was created to equip youth workers with the methods and tools for teaching and reinforcing critical self-discipline skills. The project explored the process of supporting willpower with individual students and groups. It raised awareness that self-discipline is learnable and can be acquired through practicing the skill. The training showed that this concept can be viewed as a curriculum content area and used as a framework for lessons for youth.

Results and Impacts:
Participants created the “”Empower The Willpower”” toolbox (curriculum) with the learnings from the project. The curriculum consists of non-formal education methods and tools for teaching students self-discipline, which youth workers can use in their organizations and schools.”

RECOGNIZE TO EMPHATIZE

Aim:“Recognize to Empathize” was the Erasmus+ mobility of youth workers project, which had the main aim of raising awareness about importance of well-developed emotional awareness in youth work. This project was developed to address the need for better recognition of own and others emotions and their expression in youth work through non-formal education methodology activities. Exploring the concept of emotional awareness and find a common understanding of it in the context of youth work;
Facilitating their emotional awareness development needed for successful dialogue and empowerment of young people from their communities; Sharing good and bad youth work practices in relation to emotional awareness and learn from each other experiences;
Creating new methods and tools for young people’s emotional awareness development based on non-formal and informal learning methodology; Promoting the networking within the Erasmus+ programme and strengthen the cooperation between the partner organizations for the future projects.

Activities: Participants took part in non-formal education workshops that will help them reflect on their own emotional awareness and understand its importance in youth work. They developed knowledge, skills and attitude in the field of emotional awareness, after which they created new non-formal education methods that can be used in their youth work after the project mobility. Participants took active part in their learning process through all phases of the project and they developed themselves both in personal and professional life.

Results&Impacts:The envisioned results, impact and benefits of “Recognize to Empathize” include: creation of manual with four new NFE methods for emotional awareness development; presentations and workshops in each of six participating countries on the topic of emotional awareness and self- development; increased capacity of partner organizations for project management and international cooperation; increased number of young people interested in non-formal education, volunteering and Erasmus+ opportunities, etc. With this we aim to achieve a multiplier effect and sustainable impact.”

BE YOUR OWN BOSS

Aim:
The specific objectives of the project were:
• To provide entrepreneurial education in non-formal way
• To improve career prospects of young people
• To increase their sense of initiative and entrepreneurship
• To share the knowledge gained during the exchange with other young people
Activities: Participants took part in non-formal education workshops that allowed them delve in the field of entrepreneurship. They developed entrepreneurial knowledge, skills and attitude and created “”Be Your Own Boss”” ebook that can be used by other young people after the project.
